I'm Taylor McKinley from Victor, Montana. I am part of the 2024 graduating class. Since 5th grade when I started playing volleyball, I always knew I wanted to take the next step in furthering my success as a volleyball player. I know playing volleyball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that would be a part of me for the rest of my life. My ultimate goal is to play competitive college volleyball while getting my masters degree in nursing.
Being that I am from a small rural town with a future graduating class of 14 peers, I feel this has advantaged me in numerous ways. Not just on the court but in the classroom as well. I have the ability to adapt to my surroundings on the court in various positions giving me the chance to learn what each position offers, while maintaining positivity and passion among myself and teammates. I am a dedicated, hardworking, coachable, team player and leader. I give myself the opportunity to learn from my mistakes and progress. I however, am meticulous in my learning, thriving to give the best version of myself on the court. I utilize this same mentality in the classroom, taking pride in all my academics, making me a great college volleyball athlete candidate.
I'm not only active on the court. I spend much of my time being a Montana Outdoors woman. Fishing, hunting, hiking and flying my own Cessna 150 aircraft throughout the big skies of Montana.
