Hello! I am Grace McDonald, a member of Centura High School's graduating class of 2019. My goals after high school include attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK) as a 2019 Omaha World Herald/ Kearney Hub Scholarship recipient and Honors Student. I plan on double-majoring, one of the majors being Journalism, and minoring in Broadcasting. The work ethic and well-roundedness I practice in school and other activities transfers to the volleyball court. My dream is to not only be a UNK Loper, but to walk onto the UNK Loper volleyball team after high school. Throughout my high school career, I have experience as a middle blocker and a right-side hitter, but I am more than willing to train for any position. I am a quality candidate for your team because I pour my heart and soul out onto the court and into my performance. Often times, I will write down feedback from coaches and document new plays when I attend camps to bring back to Centura's volleyball program. I don't play for stats. I play for my team, and I do what I can for the greater good of the game, not for myself. I desperately want to continue volleyball after high school because, to put it simply, I love it. I love playing with competitive athletes who work together to achieve a specific goal. I believe that spirit and determination is what is needed to take a team far.
