I started playing volleyball in a fitness center league when I was eight years old. I quickly fell in love with the game. I attend many camps during the summer to improve my skills, as well as camps with my high school team to help grow as a unit. I am 5'3", so i have always thrived in the back row. As a libero and defensive specialist, I always try to be an encouraging leader in the back row.
I have been fortunate enough to be on a team that has won the Goldenrod Conference 5 years in a row. My sophomore year we were 31-0 heading into the state tournament, and ended up 4th. My junior year we had a record of 26-4 heading into state and unfortunately lost in the first round.
In addition to my high school volleyball experience, I have had the privilege to play on two different club teams. The first being Central Nebraska Juniors for 3 years. Secondly, with South Central Nebraska Volleyball Club for 3 years as a libero and defensive specialist. This club has been very instrumental in my development. During my years at South Central I have had the opportunity to play in 2 National Qualifier Tournaments.
I try to apply my work ethic on and off the court by striving to maintain a high GPA. While volleyball is VERY important to me, I also see the importance of working hard in the classroom. I hope to find a college that is a good fit both athletically and academically. I want to be open to every option and ultimately find a college that is the right match with the highest level of competition possible. I am excited to take the next steps to continue reaching my goals and playing the game I love!
