My name is Emma Peay, and I am currently 15 years old. I live in Moapa Valley and play volleyball for Moapa Valley High School. I am a middle hitter, but I have been a setter. I enjoy setting but am much more comfortable as a middle. I am enrolled in all honors classes. Besides my core classes I am also enrolled in music and art classes. After high school I plan to go to college and major in pre-med in the hopes of becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon.
I love and dedicate my time to sports specifically volleyball. The other sports I play allow me to stay active and stay in shape for when I train for volleyball. Although I don't play volleyball year round, I do look to play sports that help me be physically fit for and excel in volleyball. I played softball this year, but this year I am going to run track because I believe that overall it will help me improve my vertical, my strength, and my endurance. I am hoping that my experience with track will help me improve my volleyball abilities. During my offseason I enjoy traveling to Las Vegas to work with a private coach. I also play on a local club team with the coach and girls from my high school. I hope to continue to play volleyball in college.
