Here I am a Senior and I look back to when I was seven years old, I became fascinated with volleyball. I knew from the start that volleyball was something I wanted to pursue in the future. I have come a long way and still possess the same passion I had for this sport from ten years ago. My goals for the future are to graduate high school with great grades and go to college, play volleyball competitively and get an undergraduate degree that will enable me to pursue veterinary school. I have shared my love for the sport with younger children by coaching as a volunteer position with USYVL. Through my experiences with other sports, such as softball, cross country, snow skiing, water skiing, tennis, golf, hunting and track, my devotion for volleyball is stronger than any other sport and continues to grow stronger every day I touch a volleyball.

- UPDATE: Due to COVID-19, as it was in 2020 for which I was on the roster, the 2021 trip was rescheduled for 2022. I was scheduled to represent the United States of America on the "Americas Team". During the 7 day tournament in the Dominican Republic. I had the opportunity to play volleyball on an educational tour far from home with other great athletes. We were to be representing Team America in the Dominican Republic. It's sure to be an amazing and life-changing experience that I knew would enhance my studies, promote cultural awareness, help me become a global citizen, and improve my volleyball career.

- Volleyball Premier Camp Premier Camp is designed for girls of all skill levels entering the 8th grade or higher. Instruction will be fast-paced and intended to challenge players of all abilities. Athletes will be grouped based on their age and level of skill to enable each player to receive quality instruction during the camp. Instruction will include step-by-step progressions of all skills as well as team concepts and match play. Enjoy the positive atmosphere that comes from learning and playing volleyball at the University of Nevada!

My private lessons were consistent and often throughout a period of two years. The training taught me technical development, advancing my skills for serve receive, serving, and defense. The coaches helped me "read the ball". Since playing outside hitter at Reno, High School, my club coaches helped to improve my approach, and hitting techniques.
