Jocelyn Boop '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello!  My name is Jocelyn Boop.  I live in Reno, Nevada and am a senior at McQueen High School.  I’m part of the class of 2023, graduating with an Advanced Diploma.  I have been playing volleyball since the 3rd grade and started playing club ball in the 5th grade.  I have always enjoyed playing volleyball and the more I’ve played, the more passionate I’ve become about playing volleyball in college, but the big question was which position.  I have been playing club volleyball for 8 years, my first 4 years as a libero and my ongoing 4 years as an outside/right side hitter.  I have played on my high school varsity volleyball team for 3 seasons.  I appreciate the input I’ve gotten from my volleyball coaches and parents because I can improve and become a better player.  Not only do I bring energy and spirit to the court, but I also provide encouragement to my teammates.  I strive to be an amazing all around student athlete. I’m going to college to become an elementary school teacher. I’m truly interested in playing volleyball in college and am looking for the right school, coach and team to make that happen.
