Hi my name is Isabella Rivera. I’m a setter in the graduating class of 2024 at Mount St. Dominic Academy. I have been playing volleyball for around six years and decided last high school season that I wanted to play at the next level. Starting club volleyball was something that came as a surprise. My dad signed me up for a clinic and after it the coach for the 13s team walked right up to my dad and asked why I wasn’t on the team, we ended up going to nationals that year. Playing volleyball has always felt like second nature to me and even though playing at the college level is a completely different game I know i can bring the heat! Volleyball has given me skills like leadership, communication, and determination. I’m looking forward to continue honing these skills at the college level.
