My goals for my college athletic experience are to work hard, have fun, be part of a positive/strong team environment, and enjoy success as an athlete while growing as a young adult. I know I will be a supportive, hard working role model and I can't wait to go to college! I will be a strong player that will not only excel on the court, but also in being a supportive teammate. One thing I believe that sets me apart from my peers is my nature and the mere fact that I love to be part of a team and collaborating to help all my teammates in being successful. During my Freshman high school season my teammates voted me "teammate of the year". This was one of the greatest and most satisfying honors I could have bestowed upon me. In school I enjoy singing in our choir and being a mentor to younger students, volunteering and being on the Special Olympics committee aka Unified Sports, and I enjoy learning and developing my knowledge of the Chinese Language. Academically I am a strong student enrolled in academically challenging classes in a highly competitive high school that enjoys learning. I am constantly working hard to balance my academic goals with my desire to play volleyball. I can't imagine my college years not actively participating in college athletics and fulfilling my lifelong dream to be a collegiate student athlete. My journey through volleyball has been such a positive experience of growth physically and mentally and I am looking forward to seeing where it will lead me.
