I first touched a volleyball my Freshman year of High School and have loved the game ever since! Ever since then I have participated in volleyball clubs, skill camps, privates, and anything that will improve my game. Basically I play volleyball year round to be the best player I can be! Just recently I tried out for a beach volleyball team and made their top Collegiate Development Training team (ECBVBA). Playing beach volleyball will improve my passing skills and make me a more rounded player I feel. Being 5'5" I feel am sometimes overlooked which is why I fully dedicate myself to improving my skills to be a stand out player on the court. What I lack in height I make up in my high vertical (9'4" approach, 9' block). This I feel was made possible by my 9 prior years of high level gymnastics and strength from 3 years on my Rock Climbing team.
My goal is to play volleyball in college. I intend to major in Athletic Training and eventually apply to become a Police Officer. I love law and the physical part of being a Police Officer, but I also enjoy sports rehabilitation. As with my sport I work very hard to maintain my grades. Whatever team I am lucky enough to play in college I will devote myself to my team and continue to strive to be the best student athlete I can be and always continue to better my game.
