I am a junior at Infinity Institute playing for my local high school, William L. Dickinson High School. Ever since I saw my first Rutgers volleyball match, I was interested in playing volleyball in college. I have been playing volleyball ever since 5th grade up until now. I was the captain of my middle school volleyball team and a starter for 2 out of 3 years during middle school. Now, I am playing club volleyball as well as high school varsity volleyball while keeping my academics grades high. Outside of club and high school volleyball, I am going to recreational practices with friends who have ranked number 1 in New Jersey. I have future plans of returning to Peru during the summer to be noticed by the national team recruiters while I play club there for a few months. I prefer to play as opposite, but my coaches have placed me anywhere on the court. I have been told at many of the summer volleyball camps I have attended that I am a very coachable, committed, and a fine tuner. I will continue to stay diligent on and off the court, keep a good mindset, and stay passionate about the sport.
