Jordan Magid '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I’m Jordan Magid.

I started playing competitive volleyball in August of 2022.  I found my passion for the sport when I tried out and made the Freshman roster at my High School (I was selected co-captain and we finished with a 15-2 record) and continued that season by playing for a National Club Team.

In the Fall of 2023, I made our High School Varsity team as a starter, and the only Sophomore.  I played Middle Blocker and finished with All Conference Honorable Mention (9th in blocks).  

I then played for the 15 Nationals team for the 2024 Club season. 

Most recently I have been invited to play for the 16 Nationals Team for the 2025 Club Season at Sideout Sports Volleyball Club, and I have again made the Varsity volleyball roster at Columbia High School for Fall 2024. 

I have dramatically improved my game, playing as a 6 rotation OH and OPP hitter, and working all year on my mechanics, accuracy, and court awareness. I’ve also been devoting time weekly to strength training and conditioning to improve my explosiveness and vertical. 

I aspire to compete at the Collegiate level.

I am dedicated to the sport, train intensely, look for and welcome the valuable coaching input that I receive.

I’m a team player, and I love to help elevate the energy around me through my enthusiasm. I am motivated to continue to push myself to excel in my gameplay through hard work, dedication, commitment and honing my skills as an Outside and Opposite Hitter.
