Energetic. Adaptable. Coachable. Hungry.

Energetic. On the court I am focused but still enjoy the game. I am a big talker on the court not only during gameplay, but also for positive motivation for my teammates. I acknowledge my teammates' successes and support them when they are struggling. 

Adaptable. I am a versatile player who has played all of the front row positions. My regular position is outside/opposite but this past year our middle was out due to an injury, so I asked my coach if I could train for her spot. I gained new experience and learned the nuances of a previously unfamiliar position. This gave me a better understanding and appreciation for how the middle works with the pins. I enjoy playing all-around and getting a different perspective from the back row. 

Coachable.  I apply coach corrections during practices and matches. I don't hesitate to ask questions and I'm always willing to do whatever it takes to better myself. I have a "next-play mindset"; if I make a mistake, I immediately make the changes in my head so that I don't repeat it. I listen to feedback from my teammates so that we can work better together. 

Hungry. Like all players, I am always calling for the ball and hustling for it. I am ready to hit the ball no matter where I am playing on the court. I want the ball to come to me and I don't shy away from a hard hit. I've worked hard to get my vertical up so that I can be a brick wall at the net.
