Hello! My name is Skyler Ribitzki and I am going to be a Junior at West Milford High School. Besides volleyball, I also play lacrosse and do track in the winter. I lettered my freshman year in lacrosse, winter track, and cross country. I first started really playing volleyball when I was a freshman. It feels cheesy to say, but I instantly fell in love with volleyball. All the other sports I have played throughout my life, I have never found a real passion for. I never had a true love for a sport until I started playing volleyball, and this causes me to constantly want to get better! What makes me a good candidate for any team, is I am easy to work with on a team, and I am very coachable. I love when coaches give me feedback so I can improve for myself, and for my team. Volleyball is a sport where the team has to have good chemistry and work well together, so if there is something that I believe will benefit the team, I will do so. What makes me different compared to other recruits is when I put my mind to something I do not quit. Over a short time span I have increased my volleyball skills, and IQ, tremendously. I am always watching films or just playing with a volleyball that will make me an even better player! I do not want to stop improving until I have reached my full potential. While being a starter as a Sophomore, I helped lead my team to their best record in history, and the furthest we ever made it in states. I also received Second Team All-County and Second Team All-Conference my sophomore year. I am also very determined when it comes to academics. I have been in all honors my freshman year, and sophomore year, and was top 15 in my class for both years. My GPA is currently 4.33. When in school I work hard and learned to balance my sports and academics.
