Since starting volleyball as a 7th grader, I have fallen in love with the sport, being part of a team and working to improve my game. I love challenges, and like to set high personal goals, one of those being to play at a collegiate level. On the court, I have played both as a middle blocker and a rightside hitter. I am driven, coachable, and use advice given to me to improve my skills as much as possible. I work extremely hard to achieve my goals and am versatile, and I can adapt to new situations easily. Since playing on a national level club team, I have won various tournaments with my team, and qualified for nationals twice. I enjoy finding new ways to improve on the court, whether that be working on new skills or improving ones I already have such as hitting and blocking. Pushing myself to chase high goals and be the best competitor I can is one of the things that inspires me most, and that quality is what has helped me to achieve things like All-Metro 1st team and All-State 2nd team in 2021. One of my long- term goals is to play at the next level in college, which is the next step for me to further my volleyball career.
Academics and activities off the court are very important to me as well, and school is a top priority. I currently have a 4.0 GPA, and take classes above my grade level. In school, I enjoy math and science courses, and participate in Student Government. I set high academic goals for myself as well, including keeping a high GPA and taking classes I know will challenge me.
