Naomi Kimble '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Naomi Kimble! I am a Junior attending Animas High School in Animas, NM. I have been playing volleyball for what is now going to be my fourth year. I started playing in 8th grade and made the Varsity team along with JV and Middle School. Ever since 9th grade I've been a starter on the Varsity team. I greatly enjoy playing volleyball, as I hope to have the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.  I am a very hard worker on and off the court, this includes studies and bettering myself as a person. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA for four years while participating in various activities within my school. I am apart of Student Council, NSHSS, Drama, Mock Trial, Creative Design, along with being Class President. These are many things that I take part in, as I enjoy learning leadership and preforming skills.

My personality is very cheerful and bubbly, but when it comes to game time, I take it serious. I love picking up my team and encouraging them to push through to the end, as I know that they have my back just as much as I have theirs. I often enjoy meeting new people and sparking conversations. I love to learn new techniques and ways of doing things, as I believe that there is always room for improvement no matter what it is. I am an extremely fast learner and appreciate any critiques and changes to my play to help me further grow as a player. In addition, I enjoy working out and watching college games during  free time because I believe that it is a great way to push yourself, strengthen you're mental drive, and build self-discipline.
