My name is Jerona Murphy I am a junior at Bloomfield High school in New Mexico, I have been playing volleyball for close to 9 years . When I first started playing volleyball I knew it was something that I would love, I would enjoy playing at the college level and studying at any college . When it comes to being a student -athlete I am dedicated to both and always work my hardest . College to me is an opportunity of extending my education and a chance at a good career. Where I come from it is not expected for many kids to go to college or become anything great ,so to go to college and take advantage of an amazing opportunity this would be a great accomplishment. My interest in career choices extend from biochemistry, crimnology, the career choice that I am interested in the most would be biomedical engineering. How would I be a good candidate for your team?.Having skills and good grades is part of being a good candidate ,but so is a great attitude, working hard on an off the court, being committed and fully dedicated, being coachable,is what I fully intend to offer to any coach. One thing I offer on the court is knowing good ball placement and reading other competitiors actions and strengths. This helps me when playing to know my own teams strengths and weakness who and what my teammates can handle.Thank you for your time.
