My name is Isabella “Bella” Castro and my goal is to play for a competitive Division I volleyball program. I play varsity volleyball at Centennial High School (CHS). I also play club volleyball for Texas Performance Black 18s. Previously I played club volleyball for NM Legacy where I was also team captain. I have been playing competitive volleyball since I was 7 years old. My goal for volleyball is to be part of a team that achieves something bigger than one individual can accomplish. I will always give 110 % to the game as I am a mentally tough competitor who rises to the challenge both on and off the court. I also have excellent leadership skills.
I have participated in the USA Volleyball High Performance Program for three years. I made the USA Volleyball High Performance A3 National Team. I have posted the latest USA Volleyball A3 National Team Evaluation on my NCSA Profile for your perusal. The Team is now referred to as the National Team Development Program.
I am the starting libero for the Varsity CHS team. CHS won a State Title my sophomore year. I have been awarded First Team All-State and First Team All-District for the Fourth Consecutive Year.
Regarding my academics, I have a 4.0 GPA and I am a member of Student Government Team.
I continue to work on my craft as a volleyball player and as an athlete. I have a strong desire to win, be coached, contribute, and be part of a great team!
