My plan for my future is getting a good education and pursuing to play competitive volleyball at a high level. Over the years I have tried a variety of athletics such as gymnastics, dancing, and cheer leading , but nothing seemed to stick as much as volleyball had. Although gymnastics taught me strength, and cheer leading taught me pride and leadership, volleyball required all of these important characteristics. Around 6-7 years ago I fell in love with volleyball, it helped me become outspoken and a lively person ready for any challenge I am faced with. I came from a medium size family with two older brothers and one older sister, and while being the youngest of all four I can state I am very competitive, I have patience, and I have the ability to adapt to any tough situation that comes my way.
Throughout my high school career I have been the starting setter on the varsity team since freshman year. When I attended Sandia Preparatory School (2019-2021) I led my team to a 2 district championships, and a state championship in 2021. While being an underdog and joining Sandia Prep as a young freshman, my family and I thought it would be best to leave the 3A school behind and join my old friends again at Rio Rancho Highschool (5A) for a greater competition. Due to the late decision I wasn't able to participate my junior year with the Rio Rancho volleyball community but I was lucky enough to join varsity practices and continue to get touches.
Every coach I have ever had, each one has told me I have a high volleyball IQ and I can think quickly during my games as a setter needs to be. I may not be the fastest or strongest player you see but I promise I will give you everything I have, I am willing to do what is necessary to be a successful student athlete. Thank you for your consideration and please feel free to contact me or my coaches concerning our possible future together.
