Grace Tomann '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Grace Tomann and I'm a current junior at Haldane High School in Cold Spring, NY. This past high school season I played as an OH/DS, captain, and starter. We were able to make it to NYS Class C Section 1 Sectional Championships but unfortunately, we lost in the finals. This 2018-2019 club season I'm playing as a libero on Downstate 17 Black. 

At the collegiate level, I'm looking to fill a L/DS position. I hope that through volleyball, I will be able to find a college that is right for me both athletically and academically. Just as I have grown as an athlete throughout the years, I have also grown as a student. Since 8th grade, I have been on an accelerated class course and am currently taking multiple AP courses. Through challenging myself academically and athletically, it hasn't always been easy to find a balance between the two but I have always pushed myself to succeed and have been able to keep up a 4.0+ GPA. Collegiately, I’m looking to focus on Biomedicine and Biomedical Sciences.
