*NEW VIDEO TO COME SOON!* I think I would be a good candidate for a team because I take constructive criticism very well and I also learn very fast. I have been playing volleyball for at least twelve years now and grew up watching and observing this amazing sport. Another reason I would be a good candidate is the fact that the coach will have no problem worrying about what I will do on the weekends and will know for a fact that I will be there for every practice no matter what. I grew up in a Christian home and a Christian school and I would like to give God the glory for giving me this amazing talent to play this beautiful sport. When I was in fifth grade, I was asked to play on the JV team of my school because some girls were not able to be there. Other than that one game, from seventh grade to twelfth grade, I have been only on varsity teams. I made all-state my seventh, eighth, freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior years. Seventh grade, I played as an outside hitter, eighth grade I played as setter, ninth grade, outside hitter, tenth grade. middle hitter, and junior and senior year, middle hitter. I have much experience in each position, and I I led my team my sophomore, junior, and senior years in kills, digs, and aces. Not many colleges these days are looking for anything to do with God but mainly to play for them and bring home the wins. I love the sport of volleyball and I will do whatever it takes to be the best. I would also like to point out that I would like to begin every practice with prayer and end it with prayer and begin every game with prayer and no matter win or lose, end with prayer. I think my main goal in collegiate volleyball is to glorify Christ and be an example of his love so teammates/opponents/fans/coaches can see the light of God shining through my team. In my academic situation, I have difficulty in this area, but if I put my mind to it, nothing can stop me. I made A/B honor roll this year and my grades aren't as good as they could be but they are beginning to change. I feel like with the right mind set going into college, I can be an amazing student-athlete. Over all, no matter what happens, I give God the glory and honor for giving us this amazing sport called volleyball. *NEW VIDEO TO COME SOON*
