Hannah Ward '21 Recruiting Profile

    I am currently a one sport junior athlete who is mainly interested in a future beyond high school with volleyball. I am a starter on my high school varsity team and play for an 18U club team. I play as libero for both school and club ball. I’d love to find a college closer to home but wouldn’t mind playing out of state. As far as the atmosphere of the college I’d like to attend I’m looking for something in a bigger city being that I’m from a rural area. I’d love to attend a college that is DI or DII as I feel this is where most of the competition will be.

     I am very competitive and also love being a leader on the court. I understand that starting as a freshman in such high divisions is tough but I’m 100% committed to everything I do and am willing to put in effort. Although I want to play college volleyball my education is also something I’d like to focus on. I would like to major in Social Work and pursue in a career in that particular field after I graduate from college. I understand that playing in college will limit the free time I have but I believe if this is something I truly want I can make it happen.
