DECIDE. COMMIT. SUCCEED. ~~My ultimate dream is to play volleyball at the collegiate level, and I constantly challenge myself to become the best I can be on AND off the volleyball court. I love to play the game and to be around anything that has to do with volleyball. I never want my season to end, so I find every opportunity I can to play year round. I hope to possibly coach volleyball after college and to work with other girls who have the same passion that I have for the sport. I have set many goals for myself and each one gets me one step closer to my dream of being a collegiate athlete. Some of these goals have been making my middle school team, making the best JO team in the area, making my high school team ( I made Varsity as a freshman), winning a high school state championship, getting 1,000 plus career digs, playing at National Qualifiers, playing at AAU Nationals at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, and signing with a college team by the end of Junior year. I have met all of these goals except for the state championship and the college signing, and hopefully that will happen this year. I am a good candidate for a college coach to select because I touch a volleyball every single day. I am always working to get better, whether it is practicing with my high school team or my travel team; doing position-specific training; training on the vertimax and with weights; playing sand and grass tournaments; and even having my older brother hit balls to me in the driveway every single day that I don’t have volleyball practice or a game. I am a team player and want what is best for my team. I challenge myself by studying in the most rigorous academic program in the world, the International Baccalaureate program. In June 2014, I received my Certificate of Completion for the IB Middle Years Program (6th to 10th grade), and I am currently enrolled in the IB Diploma Program at my high school. I intend to study Education at a four year college and also minor in Spanish, as I ultimately would like to be a high school or college teacher. . This would also give me the opportunity to coach volleyball at the school where I would teach. As you can see, volleyball is my passion!!
