Volleyball has been such an important aspect of my life. When I started to play for a club in my eighth-grade year I knew I wanted to play this sport long-term. I started to go to every open gym I could and get all the practice I could. All the training I have been putting in paid off and I was placed on the varsity team my freshman year. During my freshman season, I learned more about the sport but also leadership skills. Those leadership skills have helped me in so many aspects of life outside of volleyball. Getting to play this amazing sport is a privilege and can be taken away at any time. That is why I always do my best to keep good grades and to be a great student.
