Lily Plaugher '21 Recruiting Profile

My personal narrative has always been the desire to make an impact, whether within my community or on a much larger scale. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized this could best be done by working alongside others while becoming the best version of myself I can be, academically, athletically, and spiritually. The desire to make a difference has led to me in various directions, also aiding my development as an athlete, student, and positive contributor to society. My understanding of teamwork, demonstrated between me and my volleyball team, has contributed to my growth in all three roles, and has further helped me define who I am as a person, and who I want to be in the future. My goal for the future is to play on a cohesive volleyball team at the college level, while simultaneously pursuing a degree in engineering or mathematics. I believe this to be a crucial step in my plan for future as I prepare myself to go out into the world and make a difference among other influential minds.
