I just finished up playing in Buckeye Volleyball Club’s Fall League in order to stay in shape for the upcoming club season. For the 2018-2019 Club Season I am again playing up on Adrenaline Volleyball Club 18 Elite (Formerly Westland Volleyball Club). I have been working as a Veterinary Assistant since June and am planning to go to school to be a Vet Tech.
I understand how important fitness is for my normal position as a DS or Libero. However last season, due to our team being short a player I played OH (all the way around) which is strange to see (a 5'-3" OH?) but I got the job done and added another set of tools to my skillset. This summer I kept in shape working as a Lifeguard at our local City pool for a second year. It has been a great learning experience for me as it forced me to be a leader and learn to communicate with people in a calm and respectful manner even in stressful situations.
All I have ever asked for is a chance to prove myself and I want that chance at the College level. I believe my highlight films show the determination and drive with which I play this game. I look forward to discussing with you how I will be a valuable asset to your team.
