I am a very consistent and methodical player and I want to play volleyball on the collegiate level while studying to earn a bachelor’s degree. I work hard and am committed to the goal. I am very good at adjusting to bad sets and I am very good at reading my opponents and where the setter places the ball.I am also very good at blocking I know where my opponents hit and am able to block their hit.
On top of being an consistent offensive player I am also a very consistent defensive player as I said I am very good at reading where my opponents place the ball especially the setter I make sure there isn't any way for the server to hit a whole.
My strongest suit is serving I score at least 10 points in a set with my serves I am consistent with giving the other team a hard time with my serves I know when the right time is to serve the right serve, I usually start out if the libero is not a very consistent passer I will serve a hard top spin serve to the libero. And they usually adjust to that and then I will throw them of by serving a floater. My team always depends on my hard consistent serves.
I put 110% in this sport. My freshman year I started as a outside hitter but my coaches seen something else in me, they learned that I was a commendable backside hitter, I have succeded very well in that position. I am very committed to everything I do. I am a very good student and take my education pretty seriously. I am not 100% decided on my major, but it will likely be something like Pre-Law, Pre-Med, or Engineering/Computer Science. While I am a good student, I do have a lot of friends that are important to me. And I value my friendships!!
I also want to share that I have recovered from two right knee injuries, a meniscus tear, and a plica removal surgery. With being put down with two injuries I have not let that stop me I was able to over come it and get back on the court!!
As I said I am a very committed player and I never give up!
I will have video clips up soon!!!!
