Elizabeth Hickey '20 Recruiting Profile

During my time in college, I aspire to achieve a degree and to play college volleyball. I am a hard worker and I work well with other people. I would be a good candidate for your team because I am a team player and I put my team before myself. I am a very unselfish player and I lead by example. I believe that in order to be a great player you need to have a love for what you are doing, to be fully committed to the task at hand, and to have a good attitude. Having a lot of energy on the court can start with just one player. One player can choose to react positively to something that may have not ended as they had wanted. One player can start a chain reaction on the court. Having a good attitude is infectious; it can cause an entire team to flip their attitudes from negative to positive. Academically, I am a 4.0 student who works extremely hard to maintain my grades. I have a great work ethic and I plan to bring that with me to college and to the court.
