Eva Bender '24 Recruiting Profile

I'm Eva katherine Bender and my goal is to pick a college based on their success in academia and athletic culture. I am part of the Honor Roll Society and I take pride in doing well in my academics.  I'm goal oriented with all that I am, and I conquer those goals. I'm going on my fifth year of volleyball and I have been libero consecutively for my school team and club team. I was chosen by my teammates in 2020, my freshman year of high school, to be their team captain and I would NOT let them down. It's an honor to be chosen by my peers to lead them. I look at my teammates as a family, not competition. If I can help them improve their skills, that will only make me an even better individual/player and as an entire squad together, we could dominate. My goal isn't to just win, of course I want to win, just like everyone else but if we lose, we know we gave it 1000%. I'm also big on self-love and being a confident female.  I promote that with my entire heart and I will do so with my teammates.  With that being said, with that self improvement, and bump in confidence, (no pun intended), it will also show on the court. I am a determined, dedicated and self-disciplined individual whose goal is to always learn and grow in all aspects of my life.
