2022 Spotlight Personal Statement
My volleyball goal is to play at the college level where I can work hard to continue to learn and grow. Over this last club season I have focused on improving my setting. I am hard working and well organized with the passion and drive to work hard towards achieving goals. I've always been an excellent student-athlete, and have been able to balance the work of both. Volleyball has been a part of me that has always grown, and that I have wanted to pursue any way that is possible. I have always had a lot of goals and I have done most of them by being able to prioritize certain things (like academics and volleyball with my other school sports, clubs, and volunteer activities). Doing that, and having the support of my family has always helped me believe that I can pursue those goal. I have always looked at the things that I have been able to achieve, and they may not always have been wins. I believe that not everything in life is about winning, however they are a pretty sweet when you get reach them as a team.

- 2023 Mid Ohio Volleyball Academy (17O American Team)
- I switched to MOVA to be on an American Team Level (up from a Region level). MOVA is allowing me to focus on setter positional training with defensive attack coverage 3 times a week. In matches we play a 6-2 with slides and quick sets to our middles. The pace is faster and the tournaments are much more competitive than my prior experience. My skills have grown tremendously with my MOVA team.
- 2022 FLATLANDS (Regional 16 - Black)
- Played in a 6-2 rotation as Setter and Right Side Hitter/Blocker dropping back for serve receive for first half the season. Transitioned to 5-1 rotation playing Left Side Hitter and Right Back (6 rotations) due to team needing a stronger hitter on Left. I am a strong all around player with strong Volleyball IQ, who is willing to play whatever position benefits my team.

- Starter playing Right Side Hitter/Blocker primarily in front row rotation and dropping back on serve receive. As a strong all around player, I would also play Setter and Left Side Hitter as needed when it benefited the team.
