Personal Statement

There's nowhere I'd rather be than on the volleyball court with dedicated teammates. However, volleyball is not my only interest. My faith and family come first. The right college will afford me an opportunity to play the sport I love and also help me continue what I've started in high school. The purpose of education is to form the whole person, not simply prepare me for a career. I embrace this attitude in everything I do. Whether on the court, the classroom, or a social setting, my college experience will be driven by these priorities. I realize I'm an undersized middle, but I play all the way around, and my defensive strengths match my offensive skills. I would be very happy to play wherever I could best contribute to a competitive program!
