My goal is to become a collegiate student-athlete so that I can continue to play the sport that I love while pursuing my academic degree. I have always participated in several sports (volleyball, track & field, and softball), so I have learned to manage my time in order to focus upon my schoolwork while staying committed to my team's practice and competition schedules. My coaches know that I am 100% committed to the team, and this shows in my attendance and hard work at all practices, team events, and competitions. I am a competitor who works hard to be the best that I can be, and I am open to feedback from my coaches and teammates that will help me get better. I am also committed to the success of my team and know that this can only be accomplished by supporting my teammates and helping them to reach their highest potentials. This year I made a very tough decision to leave the JO club for which I had played for five consecutive years. I chose my current club because of its focus upon a positive environment and sense of culture. I have never regretted this decision and am enjoying playing with a group that is focused upon volleyball and genuinely supports one other.
