Kylie Barnhart '25 Recruiting Profile

All throughout my life I have strived to be the best that I can be both in academics and in sports. The first priority in my life is my academics.  I take excelling in school very seriously and strive to have and maintain the best grades possible. Participating in sports is something I also take seriously. I feel that playing the setter position is a lot like being the quarterback of the team in football.  I feel that you need to be able to see the whole court and will only have but a few seconds to be prepared to call the right play to catch the other team out of position. I feel I am a very competitive athlete and feel that putting in the work will only help me improve.  I take a lot of pride in giving 100% hustle not only during tournaments but each and every practice and encourage all my teammates to do the same.  

I am looking for a school that not only puts a competitive volleyball team together but first and foremost will provide me with the best education possible.  I am also looking for a strong team first culture and will do whatever I need to do to help build off that culture.
