My plans for the future are to attend a college or university that challenges me both academically and athletically. I am working towards a career in sports medicine, specifically as an athletic trainer, since I have been heavily involved in sports for years now and would like to continue to be. I also love helping people in any way I can, and I know a career in sports medicine would allow me to fulfill this goal. I am looking for a smaller college of about 2,000 to 15,000 people. I currently live in rural Oklahoma, and I don’t mind going to college in or out of state. I prefer to to go to a Christian college where I can not only learn academically, but also have a Christ-centered education. Some of my extracurricular activities other than volleyball including singing on the praise and worship teams at my church and school. I also serve as a member of my school’s National Honor Society where I am a part of projects that serve both our school and community. This past November, I organized a food drive for Thanksgiving during the basketball games to support the local food bank in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. One of my upcoming extracurricular activities is a mission trip with my club volleyball team to Costa Rica where we will provide volleyball clinics for the local children, share the Gospel while competing against other teams, minister to the children at an orphanage, and minister to a widows’/women’s ministry. My biggest dream at this time in my life is to play college volleyball. I love this sport, and I am working hard to make that dream happen. I am currently a starter on both my high school and club volleyball teams, and whether on or off the court, I do my best to cheer on my team and encourage them even when the games are tough. What I have to offer any team is dedication, commitment, leadership, and encouragement.
