Delaynee Angell '25 Recruiting Profile

 Hi, I am Delaynee Angell,  I have been playing volleyball since I was seven years old and started playing club volleyball when I was nine. My first year playing club I made the 12U team. When I was 11 I made the 14U team. Currently, I am playing for STORM Volleyball Club in Eastern Oregon. I am on the U16 Gold team. I have always loved playing volleyball and really want to continue to play after high school. Since I have started playing, volleyball has always driven me do my best in school and in life. 

 Some things I would like you to know about me. I am a 3.75-4.0 GPA student. I push myself everyday to be the best I can be in the classroom and on the court. I want to go to school to be a student athlete and study Occupational Therapy or Speech Language Pathology. I am open to play in any division and want to take my volleyball career on with me for a long time after high school. I am very family oriented and would like to stay somewhere close to my home so maybe a 1-2 day travel. I participate in a lot with my community. I am in FFA with my school, currently serving as our Chapter President. I help coach our youth in the community who are just getting started with their sports careers and love to see them grow and love the sports they get to play.  I go to my church's youth group every week. I feel it is very important to give back to my community who always supports me in everything I do and made me the person I am today! On all my new teams I love to get know all my teammates and coaches and find myself becoming a leader and starter on every team. I am coachable, kind, competitive, hardworking, enthusiastic individual, and love to have fun and smile! Volleyball has always been my love and I can't wait to see what is has to offer in years to come!
