Elizabeth Bonner '22 Recruiting Profile

I’ve loved volleyball since the first year I played. My junior year was the first time I played as a libero, this is the same year I grew an emotional connection to the game. The adrenaline rush of diving and knowing that my yellow jersey meant I have to be the best passer on the court was very much a high for me and it became my passion. Falling in love with the sport has directed me to want to be the best player I can be and to continue to be a coachable athlete and put 100% of my heart and soul on the court. I aspire to be an outstanding defensive specialist, one that my teammates can trust and rely on to set up the perfect play. Being the caption of my senior team taught me that being there for my teammates on and off the court is a priority of mine, regardless of the situation, school, personal, or even volleyball, I want to do everything in my power to keep my teammates on track and thriving in whatever it is. This brings more family like love and connection to the game increasing our performance.
