Volleyball has been in my life since I was born. When my mother coached for North Medford High School after playing for Gonzaga I would sit in the ball cart and watch the girls practice. One particular practice I was in the ball cart like usual and got hit in the head by an outside hit. I didnt cry, but I was definitely stunned and everyone started cheering for me. Ever since then I knew I was going to be a volleyball player.
I am open to any school with a strong volleyball program and solid academics. I want to play in college because I love the sport and everything I learn from it. Volleyball has helped me be the strong, gentle person I am today. I am one of the hardest workers you will meet and thrive under pressure, from clear feedback, and occasional reality checks. I have made it a custom for responses to always be, "Yes, coach." and "Thank you, coach." and to move that feedback into action.
I am a student athlete, which means "student" comes first. I love school, especially history, law, science, and language arts. I am a giant ball of sunshine and thrive in social situations. As an athlete I always have pushed past my limits and realized I am way more capable than I think. I pride myself in hard work and accomplishing my goals.
