Shallyn Lewis '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Shallyn Lewis. I am currently playing MB/MH for Chemeketa Community College. I have been named to the Sophomore All Star second team and our school is heading to the NWAACC championships. I am athletic, quick and coachable. I love hitting a quick one, blocking and digging. As a freshman I was selected as an All Tournament Player at the Clackamas Community College Tournament. I was a three year varsity volleyball player at Central High School, a 4A school in Oregon. I was also a two year starter, a co-captain for the 2010 season, and the leading OH for Central. My team had a successful season, and we made it to the OSAA state championships at Lane Community College in Nov. I'm passionate about volleyball, whether it's on the beach, on a court, or just playing for fun in my yard. I am looking for an opportunity to continue to play volleyball in college. I believe there is so much more for me to learn, and I am still improving game by game. I will work hard for the coach that makes me a part of their volleyball family.
