My name is Lauryn Pettyjohn and I’m currently heading into my senior year at Grant Union High School. I started playing volleyball when I was in first grade through our local Parks & Rec program and immediately fell in love with the game. As I progressed in volleyball throughout my high school career I became more and more interested in playing at the collegiate level. I have spoken with, practiced with, and learned from collegiate volleyball players and I’ve even spoken to college volleyball coaches as well. Growing up in rural Eastern Oregon I learned that hard work is the key to success I’ve also carried that hard work to the volleyball court. Looking into my senior year, and post-high school plans, I aspire to play at the collegiate level. I believe that my drive and passion for this game will allow me to be a very successful asset to any team.
