I would like to get my degree in animal science and then proceed to go to vet school. I come from a very small school where all the different sports teams are made up of the same kids, so for me I have been playing with the same girls since 6th grade, in volleyball, basketball, and track. My first year of club I was sort of nervous about how it would be playing with different girls but I found out quickly it was a fairly easy adjustment. I believe that it made me a better player and teammate, by making me pay attention more to the other girls movement instead of knowing exactly what they were going to move. Before long into that first season of club it felt like I had been playing with those girls forever. I grew up on a 17,000 acre cattle ranch, there we ran around 600 head of cattle. By the time I was four years old I was riding my own horse moving cows six hours a day with my family most weekends. I believe that made me have a very strong work ethic and made me tough. One thing that I think has really helped me improve as an all around athlete is being coachable. I do not think their is a better feeling than when I just keep struggling with something and my coach corrects me and I get it right. Sports and being active have always been a huge aspect in my life and I would love to continue my career beyond high school.
