Annika Noreen '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Annika Noreen, I am 17 years old in the class of 2022 attending Sandy High School. I am a 5’10” Outside/Opposite and love to help make big plays whether it is getting the first pass or the final kill. Being on the court started at 7 years old when I started going to all kinds of club, high school and college camps. I first started playing club at OJVA at age ten and continued to play for top level programs in the Portland area. I have played for NW Elite 18-1 Gold for the last two years and next year for my senior it will be eight years of club volleyball.  

My club coach regularly plays me as a full rotation player because of my hitting, passing and my ball control. I work with a trainer and do private lessons when-ever they are available. I am continually learning more and want to strive to be a better person and player.

I live in the Columbia Gorge and do a lot of hiking, fishing, wake surfing and recently have started to do some mountain biking. In the summer beach volleyball is my passion and I have had the same partner for many tournaments in the area. I am one to pull a team together and always build others up. I would like to be in a program where I could play both indoor and beach.  I am a strong player that could help a program immediately and would love to set up a time to talk about your school, program, city and your approach.
