Hi, my name is Brooke Eyler and I am currently a ( Senior) at Purchase Line High School. My sport and passion is volleyball. I work hard all year round. I’m a middle hitter/blocker at high school. I would love the opportunity to be an outside hitter. I start outside in most of my rotations. And I’m tall enough to play this position very well. In previous years, though, I have played as an outside hitter when needed during AAU tournaments. This is my first time playing in USA Volleyball and traveling interstate for tournaments. At Keystone Volleyball Club, I am a middle hitter. I love to improve my block and hitting slides and thirty-ones on the outside. I have enjoyed making new friends and being coached my new coaches at KVC. I am an easy going person and very coachable, I try very hard to apply corrections. I have a natural instinct to lead and solve problems.
My high school is very small. I’m the only one there that wants to further advance my play on a collegiate level. Right now, I travel over an hour for two club practices a week. Once a week, I work with my personal trainer, Franko Alexander, in his gym. He has a great concentration on strength and development. I enjoy the gym because not only am I building agility and muscle, but I am learning how to prevent injuries and work out in the right way.
One thing you might not know about me is that I was a competitive cheerleader for the last five years. Almost every day is spent in the gym, stretching, tumbling and dancing. At times, I was on three teams! I competed up and down the East Coast and at Wide World of Sports in FL for three straight years. I know my jumps and blocks at the net are from cheerleading. I am able to pull myself up and twist for high tumbling skills. I have a cross training skill that is very unique!
As well as club volleyball, I am on the varsity track team at school where I primarily high jump and sprint.
I am interested in International Business/ Fashion and marketing. I have goals also to get my MBA and go to Law School. If your college has a program to help me further my education and interests, I would be very interested to talk with you. Thank you!
