Sydnei Jones '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sydnei Jones and I love this sport. As a freshmen, I was the starting middle for my Varsity High School team. Yes! This 5’8, freshmen, setter, had the highest vertical in the gym! I picked up the middle footwork quickly and helped my team finish undefeated in the section.

I am looking forward to using what I learned during my successful school season at the net as a setter during this coming club season.

I take pride in being on the honor roll and I would like to attend a school that has a strong academic reputation. I am currently very interested in Pre-Law. I have dreams of all sizes when it comes to volleyball. Playing in the Olympics would be my Mega dream but that would come after winning an NCAA National Championship, after winning Nationals in Dallas this summer and after winning a conference championship here in Pittsburgh. I am not scared of hard work and I enjoy every minute on the court with my teammates and my coaches.

When it comes to size, location and division; I am looking for an environment that will nurture my academic needs as well as help me grow as a volleyball player. Simply put, it would be incredible to spend my college years playing volleyball while learning something I am passionate about.
