Allyson Montour '19 Recruiting Profile

I would like to play volleyball at the college level because I think it gives me a different level of exposure to help me throughout my life after college. I currently start varsity as a sophomore, and this is my second year on varsity. I am very responsible and dependable. I strive to be a leader on and off the court. My academics come first, so I always make sure they are above average before focusing on volleyball. I currently have over a 4.25 GPA and am enrolled in 4 honors/AP courses. I am also flexible when it comes to positions on the court; I can and will play anywhere. Even though my primary position is a middle, I can hit at all hitting positions, set, and play back row. I have had exposure to each of these assets of volleyball and I believe I would be valuable to any team because I am able to transition to a different position anytime.
