Since I started playing school volleyball in 6th grade, I have thoroughly enjoyed the team sport experience. The game is challenging and allows me to showcase my athleticism and leadership skills. I have been the Captain for my club and school team for many years. I have enjoyed rallying my team and working with my coaches to be a better player while encouraging the other players on and off the court. As an outside hitter, I have been able to develop my approach and swing through being double rostered for the last two years. For my JV and club team, I am a full rotation player. For Varsity, I have also been a starter for full rotation, but mostly I played where my coach needed me specifically.
As a student, I strive to do my best while balancing the rigors of club and school athletics. I am involved with my church's youth group and between that and volleyball, my days are full. My classmates and I have tracked through the years on an higher level of academics. Completing most of my math requirements in Middle School.
My future academic goals are to either pursue Physical Therapy or Athletic Training. I would love to play for a competitive school within a two hour radius of home.
