Christine Berry '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi. My name is Christine Berry. I have been playing volleyball since I was in Elementary School but I didn't join my schools team until I was in 8th grade. I am currently in 11th grade at Propel Montour High School. My main position is Outside Hitter. My secondary position is Opposite.  A goal that I have for myself when I play volleyball is to always learn more than what I learned the day before.  I achieve this goal almost everyday at my practices. The intensity gets to me some times but that means that I am actually working to the hardest of my ability. I am a very competitive player that would help benefit any team.  Something that stands out about me that makes me different is how much I love playing the sport. I love reading so I treat Volleyball as if it is an amazing novel that I love and I enjoy reading.  Playing volleyball is amazing for anyone but it means a lot to me because it lets me release some of my stress form the day and allows me to work on myself better as a person. What I mean by it allows me to work on myself better as a person is that it allows me to demonstrate the different key aspects of myself that I usually don't get the chance to highlight. I would be a good candidate for your team because it shows that I am a hard worker and strive to make things work together as a team instead of being an individual on the team. Different things that make me stand out is that I am always determined to get things done and will continue to work hard till it is complete. My academic skills are very high because I am always open to trying something new if it will help benefit me in the future.
