Isabelle Walsh '18 Recruiting Profile

My objective is to compete at the highest level that I can in college. Volleyball is my main passion and am happiest when on the court.  I love to make a play and never give up.  Even better, I am happiest when a teammate gets a kill!  I bring energy and enthusiasm to my entire team.  My coaches consider my athleticism one of my greatest assets.   My athleticism allowed me to start for Pittsburgh Elite 16P1 which was the best 16s team in Pennsylvania and help them place 27th at Nationals during the last club season.  

We had a solid varsity season winning our section and winning our home tournament against some of the best teams in Western Pennsylvania.  I had a strong year leading my team in kills with 444,  digs with 195 and serve receives with 466.  I was named to the all state PA team, all WPIAL first team and the Big 56 all-section first team at the end of the season.  According to MaxPreps, I lead the state in AAA and above in kills per set with 5.4.  I have established myself as a 6-rotation player.   I was thrilled to be named female high school player of the week in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. 

Through clubs and many camps, I have made tons of volleyball friends and play with, and against, them all.  My many friends are one of the best things about playing volleyball.   Upper St. Clair has been rated as the best public school in Western PA.  I have done well there and plan to be a complete student-athlete in college.
