2016 Single Game ...Personal Statement
I began playing volleyball at the age of 11 in 7th grade. Immediately, I loved the sport. From then on, I've played every school season and club season available. The love of the sport still carries on.
In college, I aspire to play volleyball, while simultaneously studying either Architectural Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Data Analytics. School is a priority to me, so I plan to manage being a reliable player, as well as a successful student.
On and off the court, I must also be a leader and teammate. As a leader, I have to always strive to set the best examples; having a good attitude and being a good sport are two of my biggest concerns. Volleyball is a game of momentum and being able to maintain a positive and determined attitude throughout gives you the advantage over most teams. As a teammate, encouragement and constructive criticism are points of focus.
For the 2016 season, I was awarded Honorable Mention All League. For the 2017 season, I was voted First Team All League, set the Single Season Kill Record, surpassed the Career High Kills, and had the highest serve receive rating for the team.

- Won the 2017 East Coast Championships Gold Bracket in Pittsburgh, PA over Revolution in three games. I started and hit outside in all 24 games we played in the tournament.

- My team, Club Integrity, went undefeated the first two days, lost the first on the third, and continued to win the rest of our games, including the Championship. Leading into the three set match, we had played six straight sets, the Quarterfinals and the Semifinals. During the ninth set, we persevered long enough to overcome the team we had lost the National Bid to earlier in the season. This is a very important tournament to me because it proved to me and my teammates that hard work really does pay off.
