Seven McHatten '21 Recruiting Profile

The day our team won the PEI Provincial Championship as a freshman was the highlight of my high school career. Our Club Team made it to the finals of the National Championship the next year. I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete during this year, when our team didn't make the championship game. Finishing club volleyball in the spring and then starting at a new school in the fall. This was detrimental to my volleyball career and that experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my own efforts on becoming a more solid player and focusing on being capable of playing at the college level.

I was fortunate enough to be part of a few amazing programs, winning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in in our division with my club team over my four years. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership the years without a trophy. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
