Hi, I am Ariana Orcera! Born and raised in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. Since I was seven years old I have been practicing Volleyball, a sport that I really love! I love how a group of girls can grow so close and create a connection in just a few months while practicing very hard. I have to thank all my coaches that in one way or other contributed to create that connection, helping me grow personally and in the sport. I appreciate their support and counsel in my journey which everyday gets me closer to two of my life goals: achieve a college degree and play college volleyball. I consider myself a happy and versatile person, but at the same time serious when I have to be. I am a very competitive athlete, every time giving 100% of my efforts to win and to collaborate with my teammates.
Additionally, volleyball has taught me to work hard for what I want and to never settle for less than what I can give. I have played different sports that have influenced on who I am today. These include volleyball, beach volleyball, cross country, and track and field. I have a 3.4 GPA, which I am working on every year. I have been able to balance my academics, clubs, and sports to prepare me better for the college life. Volleyball is something that has shaped me in the person I am today, and without it I would never be the same. I hope, I can have the opportunity to play volleyball for as long as I can and make the most out of it. I’M READY FOR THAT OPPORTUNITY!
