Carolina Robles '18 Recruiting Profile

   To me volleyball is my everything, its my life and passion.  I've been playing since I was 9 years old and ever since the day I started I never wanted to stop.  Its my joy and no other sport compares to it.  I am committed to my team and my training, I'm a good listener and I show good sportsmanship.  I never give up, no mater what happens my mind is always set on me doing my best and giving it my all.  My parents are the most supportive and loving people, they have been with me through the ups and downs and they have guided me in every right direction making me the person I am today.  I'm very focused and driven, I train hard, practice hard and play hard in order to achieve my goals in life.  My goal is to play Volleyball in a University that not only has a high level athleticism but good quality academics.  My aspiration is to play in NCAA, and I am determined to make that dream come true.  I am very strong-willed when it comes to sports but I am also hardworking in the area of academics, I am currently a 11th grade student at Wesleyan Academy Guaynabo Puerto Rico with a 3.5 GPA.  I will work extremely hard in any university I get into in order to graduate with honors and be able to excel in the field of my choice.   

I've had the chance of leading my volleyball teams to many championships in Puerto Rico and the US.  I have had the honor of being MVP and All Star in both my Club teams and my school teams. I am currently with VolleyUmet, and we have won all of the tournaments we have played in Puerto Rico.  Besides playing in Clubs I have been given the honor or representing Puerto Rico, in the National Volleyball Team 18under.  We went to Orlando, Florida to play the International AAU Championship with teams like Brazil , China , Israel , Slovenia , Alemania, Dominican Republic and Mexico.  Also, representing Puerto Rico in the National Juvenile Volleyball Team in the USA-High Performance Tournament in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
